Adding an Instructor

To add an instructor member to the program, click “Setup” from the program's opening page, then click “Add a New Instructor” at the bottom of the instructor list. Fill out the required fields.

Display Name

This is the name shown at the top of the instructor's column on the lesson sheet and is included on all lesson slips and reminders.

First and Last Name

The First and Last names are required for the franchise reports, but are never shown to the students.

Address and Contact Information

The address and contact information for the staff is optional and for reference purposes only. It is not used by the program in any way.

Column

The Column number determines the order in which the instructors are displayed on the lesson sheet. The column numbers of other instructors are appropriately adjusted so that instructors can be inserted and moved as needed. If the staff should not be shown on the lesson sheet, choose “Do Not Show” in this list.

Executive

Check the Executive check box if this staff member is an executive. If so, this staff will be available in the executive list for enrollments.

Active

The Active check box must be checked for all active staff. If this box is unchecked, the staff will not be shown on the lesson sheet and they will not be an available selection for primary instructors or enrollments. See 'remove an instructor“ for more details.

Saving

Press the Save button at the bottom before moving on to the Working Hours.

Setting Working Hours

At this point, the staff is available for selection, but has no working hours hours set. To add working hours, follow the instructions in Setting Instructor Hours.
