The Lesson Sheet

The main page of Simple Appointments is a lesson sheet grid with the times of the day going down and the staff names across the top. Signing in will always go to the current day, but clicking a date on the calendar in the top-left will immediately show the lesson sheet for that day. On the calendar, the day shown in the lesson sheet is highlighted in red. “Today” is outlined in blue. To go to the previous or next month, click on the arrows beside the name of the month above the calendar.

Click on a staff name at the top of the page to view the lessons of that staff each day for a week, starting on the day currently selected on the calendar. This view can make finding and scheduling openings for a staff member much easier. From the weekly view, click a date at the top of the page and the lesson sheet will show a full-width view of that day for that staff. Click the staff name again, or click the date or name in the top-left of the lesson sheet to return to the daily view.

The lesson sheet for each day will only show working hours for available staff. Each 45-minute segment available to staff is separated by a thicker black line, but this line is simply a guide and appointments can be scheduled at any available time increment.

Each scheduled lesson will have a blue roman numeral beside it designating the level of the student. It may also have a red $ sign to indicate a payment is due that week or a red number to indicate that the student has two or fewer lessons remaining in their enrollment. If a student is over budget, a red >$ symbol will be shown. Confirmed lessons also display a green c.

To print the lesson sheet, click “Printer Friendly” at the bottom of the page. This will open up a .pdf formatted page which can then be printed by clicking the printer icon within the .pdf viewing program such as Acrobat Reader. The “Without Shading” link provides the same .pdf file without any shading.

If the lesson sheet is too large for the page, and you find it inconvenient to scroll down, read how to scale down the lesson sheet.
