Changing Student Information

Viewing Student Details

From the opening page of the program, click the “Students” link on the left side to open a list of all students.

When you are viewing the list of all students, you can click on a student's name to view the students details, including contact information, birthdays, default lesson options, and even a photo. If you want to change an inactive student, you will have to click the “Show Inactive Students” link at the top of the page first.

You can also access this page by clicking one of the student's phone numbers listed on the lesson sheet as described in Look Up Student Information.

Changing Student Details

Once you are viewing the student details, you can edit any of the fields, then click Save to make your changes final. For an explanation of what to put in each field, see Student Form Fields.

If you want to change the “Default Lesson Length” or the “Default Units Used per Lesson”, you should be aware that they are updated every time a new enrollment is added for the student. Any changes that you make to those two fields will be overwritten the next time the student enrolls.

The only value that you cannot change is the student's department. This can only be changed by Entering an Enrollment.
