Verifying a Lesson
Every lesson must be verified to tell the program that the lesson actually took place and should be charged to the student and recorded for reports. Any lessons that are not verified, but whose start time has passed, are shown on the lesson sheet with a yellow background. This serves as a notification that the lessons should be verified.
To verify a lesson, select the lesson, then click the “Not Verified” link in the left side box. If desired, choose an alternate verification date and time, or accept the default of the current date and time. An additional entry box is shown; for group lessons, this is the attendance of the group, for private lessons, this is the number of units used by the lesson that will be charged to the student. Complimentary lessons should be verified with a value of 0 units. Enter the appropriate amount, then click Save or press Enter in the entry box to verify the lesson.
Lessons that are not verified will not be charged to the student, will not be printed on the student's lesson card, and will not be included in weekly reports. However, they are numbered for department II lessons.
