==== Remove an Inactive Student ==== When a student permanently (or for a long term) ceases to take lessons, a step should be taken to remove them from the list of active students. Follow the instructions in [[Change Student Information]] on viewing student details. Then uncheck the "List for New Appointments - Active" checkbox. === Results === First, you will find that the student is then removed from the student list page. The can only be seen by clicking the "Show Inactive Students" link. Secondly, the student will no longer be shown in the list of students in the [[Quick Find]] or when [[adding a task]]. This helps keep the list as short as possible. Finally, the student will never be included on the [[View the Instructor Report|Instructors This Week]] report. The inactive section of that report lists students that are marked as active, but have not taken any lessons that week, so that the staff can follow-up with those students. ==== ==== [[Table of Contents]]
